It's pretty sad for Anderson that 1 on 1 he can't get at least a few. That's not good.

Same equipment? I think Dungey is on the FE model while Anderson is on the 2015 platform. IMO looked like Anderson had him on reaction time on possibly 2 of the starts (5th & 6th).

Problem is he wheelies it a bit.. Dungey is keeping it so low and straight..

I'll admit I'm an amateur in looking at these, but I have a pretty good eye. Looks to me like Dungey starts a little more upright & gets more traction. Andersons reaction time is on par, but inconsistent. Sometimes a little better, but when it's off, it's way off. But, in either case, they claim similar equipment - which I think is far from the truth.

Dungeys bike must have 1000 HP. On the 5th and 6th start Anderson looked to get the jump and still got beat.

It does look like Dungey sits a little more upright and just a fraction further back on the seat than Anderson.

Would have been good if they changed gates every other start, maybe Dungey just had a better line into the first turn Smile

I'll say this much. Anderson has a lot of talent and potential. If he keeps training with Dungey like this, he will be a contender in the coming seasons (good for us fans).

I thought Anderson had the jump on him half the time. At least twice his reaction time was better...

He definitely had him over the gate a couple times but what we don't see is how flat and straight they both keep it and how smooth they hit the shift.

I guess this is a perfect illustration of why hole shot money is given out at the first turn and not on reaction times. Dunge is a machine

Sad that Transworld at one time had videos that were entertaining.

Dungey a riding posture is definitely more "proper" than most riders. Most riders seem to have times where it looks like the bike is riding the rider. Some riders more than others. Alessi is a good example. You often see him reacting to the way the bike acts rather than anticipating what the bike will do and preemptively react. But every rider seems to have moments where they look to lose control momentarily. Dungey seems to keep it together more than any other rider.
