Don't ride with jeans...

Two hours ago, I just happened to witness the consequences of a street accident. Came driving with my family and ended up where a guy had crashed with his supermotard, luckily he was running full upper body armor, BUT sans lower armor, his knee was totally smashed, I didn't even see the patella. I figure he hit the asphalt in 50 mph (?). He survived, was pretty ok, pain, chock though. I attend the scene for 30 minutes until the paramedics arrived. I think he will be ok, no head or spine injury judging by my rudimentary check, and some firefighters was already doing the first check up, but I figure that knee will reminder for the rest of his life...

Please people, always use full body armor...
