Does practice require 'Pit pass' ticket?

Just your ticket will get you in the stadium all day long. And if you want to go to the pit party all you need is an empty Monster Energy y can to recycle and they'll stamp your hand, pit access until 6PM.

It depends on the round. Some of the east coast rounds have no pit party at all (Toronto and Detroit come to mind). The pit party in Indy the few times I went was cool to walk through once. I'd spend a Monster can on it.

I was able to walk the track a couple years ago at St Louis because of a friend that was racing there. I didn't remember having any special pass to do so but now I always seem to miss it.

Anyone else know when or how we do that?

Pit party worth it if I have no interest in autographs?
I feel like it is. You can check out the bikes, watch the mechanics do their routine maintenance work, etc....
