Has anyone ever owned one? I am ordering mine Tuesday and was wondering if anyone will do suspension or aftermarket stuff on it? It may not need it but I'm just curious.

i rode and sold them for a couple years FC did my suspension, ask for Cullen he will take care of you tell him uncle Pete sent you

Yep I have one and it is the best bike I have ever owned. I want to do a few things to it and don't want to lose any riding time plus I really like the looks of the TM's.

Had an '02 TM 300MX......rocketship motor, harder you pushed it , the better it handled. Only complaint was fit and finnish wasn't the best but growing up on Spanish bikes I was used to it.

Please review the TM and compare it to the KTM. Interested, always liked the TM's but not gain enough to fork out the cash for it.

I owned & raced a TM300 in 2003 & I know that the new 2012 300 probably has very little in common with the one I raced in 03 but these are my thoughts on the 300 that I owned. The motor was a rocket but signed off way too early so I contacted Pro Circuit & Mitch said that they had a special pipe & silencer combo that they had been trying on Gordon Wards TM300s & they they would sell me one to try out. That really allowed the motor to rev out much further without hurting the power anywhere else so that was a mod that really helped. I had the suspension done by RG3 & it worked awesome. Ohlins stuff is some of the finest suspension on the planet. Over jumps & under jumps where handled flawlessly & I thought that the bike had awesome suspension but still didn't handle great so then we worked on getting it to turn better so Tri Star made me some special offset clamps. I don't remember the offset but I'm thinking stock was around 24mm-ish & we went to 20mm & that also helped tremendously. I thought the bike was a blast to ride & race & it certainly was a conversation piece everywhere I took it. [/img]
