Do you ever think KTM would let Husquvarna build a better bike than KTM's. So far they are pretty much clones but arent they supposed to let Husq. Start to develop their own bike after a couple years?

Next year you'll start to see Husqvarna go in their own direction. They had to relaunch the brand and the best way to do that in short time was to start with a known good platform. They've done a great job.

What about the 2016 Husky 450? Is it the exact same as the 2016 KTM? When are they releasing the info on them?

I've spoken to Tonkov about his Husqvarna compared to Herlings' KTM and he says they are a lot different

It would be dumb to spend additional develoment $$ trying to build a better frame/ engine combo then KTM as they are essentially the best.

The correct direction for Husky is to go upmarket. Upgraded suspension, trick carbs or DI on the 2 strokes, maybe a trick fuel tank, maybe some different plastic.

In the U.S. Husky is running last years KTM platform. So they are technically different right now. Anderson and Pourcel sure made the bikes look good this weekend...for an outdated design of course.
