He's definitely got to be feeling spoiled right now but I don't think its a coincidence. After his wrenching career is over I bet he'd be a pretty good amateur scout.

Yes, and it was no coincidence Dungey and Mike are paired together. Very intentional that those two are put together.

DeCoster as manager, Gosselar as mechanic and Dungey as the Racer. Great package.

I would assume as a rider you would have more confidence with Goose as you mechanic. He's has a insane resume for sure.

Yes. I think (unlike all of us..lol)everyone at suzuki knew what RD5 was capable of. I think if they didn't know they had a championship contender in RD5 they would of done whatever it took to keep CR. Roger D has very seldom had a team that didn't include a championship contender and i think he knew this year was no different.

he would be again wrenching for the SX points leader so soon after RC (I forgot Reed)? The guy has an incredible resume and I would assume it has a great effect on Dungeys' confidence. Nobody really gives the mechanics enough credit, it's not all about making sure your seat is on tight.
Answer to the Original Q: Yes.

The folks at Suzuki(Well, DeCoster) made the decision ot go with Dungey...they, now, look like Geniuses.

And don't forget Yoshimura as Team Owner...they make a difference, too.

They didn't earn 13 SuperBike titles for Suzuki by being "Lucky"...

He's probably my favorite person on vital, solely because of his avatar.
