He should have offered 100k to everyone in the top 5 in points after 2 motos in exchange for an easy win.... win-win situation for everyone!

That would leave him with like -$70k after taxes.

Definitely one of the most boring races of the year. The MEC should stick with the racing and drop the freestyle. The races got spread out pretty fast and the tv coverage was just on a few riders. Once Trey was out, it was over.

Huge bummer for Trey but I simply cant blame his for the few mistakes he made. The pressure of a Million large must have been a huge weight on his shoulders....

The bright side is that Trey will be a legit contender for the 2015 Championship.

I really don't think it was a mental error. That tuff block literally jumped out and grabbed him after Davi tapped it. The incident with Malcolm, however, was a mental error. Easy to get frustrated in that situation. Trey is one tough dude. He'll come back swinging like he always does.

Why do some people think Trey deserves to win? Why would anyone deserve to win?

I AGREE WITH THIS.... no one deserves to win. Athletes are not entitled to wins. Canard has worked his ass off and positioned himself to win $1m and $100k. He almost pulled it off. Good job DM18

Trey handled that better than I would have. I talked to him for a bit after the race and he said that if he'd won it, he wasn't planning on keeping the money.

For the record, Davi didnt touch that tough block. TC hit it all on his own.

He crashed the second time and I just shut it off. So bummed for the guy. Right then I realized I was a big fan of the guy when my emotions got pushed, ha!

Stoked on his riding lately! Go TC41

This is exactly what I was thinking he would do! I was hoping to see him in the podium talking about donating the money to help with the ebola outbreak or something like that. That would've been great!

yea,the ducking the roost at the same time didn't help.
but when he went down,my first reaction was,"sure seems easier to win 1million as a spectator",but in reality, what rv did winning 1mill. is harder than a lot of people think. everything goes your way,but do not make 1 mistake.

To be fair to Trey, the class was much more stacked this year. It would have been damn impressive. RV just had Dungey on his first KTM race to deal with.

I was referring to the way moto 3 started out and assumed in a matter of time, trey would overtake the lead and win the mill.
at that stage in the game, didnt matter if the race was heavily stacked with riders.

If he could have worked his way up close to Milsaps, then Milsaps could have waited and pulled over, waived Trey by, then said "Now give me 500K" on the podium. Win-win. 500k > 100k

I don't think Trey had anything for Davi. In the 2nd moto when Davi got out front, he was pulling some distance on Trey pretty damn fast. I like Trey as much as the next guy and was pulling for him, but I think between Davi's speed and a shit-ton of pressure in that last moto, he made a couple of simple mistakes. In the end, I am sure he still had a blast there.
