You probably all know by now I'm a major Dean Wilson fan and that was exactly where I expected him to be that second moto was riding awesome finally the confidence is coming back. Even when he went down in the first moto still rode solid! Pumped for Grant to! What did everyone else think of Rd1?
Nice tk see guys come from such lows claw their way back like Dean has, good for him.
I'm noticing Deano getting better and better, building confidence, speed, and endurance every week. That's how it is with every racer. You keep improving - until you get hurt. Luckily Deano is paid up actually paid ahead with his injury karma account. Then it starts all over again. The trick is how often does it happen and how do you deal with it. Some racers ala Dungey have minimal injuries and don't have to go through the injury / rehab cycle. Some seem to make a career out of it.
I love seeing racers overcome adversity and I hate to see guys throw in the towel after dedicating their lives to motocross. I'm also looking forward to seeing AC reach his potential. and the Fox racing montage poster of Roczen holding a #1 plate, a picture of him broken and his beef jerky arms in the hospital, and then finally holding a #1 plate again.
The Shop
In any case, great ride for Deano!
Bobby deserves a pat on the back. His cheap rider beat several high paid or decently paid riders yesterday.
I have a feeling on the right day he can grab moto wins... we shall see.
ill never forget I was at Indiana sx 2 years ago and he was surrounded by girls giving autographs, so im thinkin ok im a guy who wants his autograph but probably not gonna get it, so I yelled deano! and he looked up and just walked right over to me and signed my hat.. what a stand up guy.
For outdoors, he's had a full testing schedule and he's not "behind the eight ball" and trying to figure it all out at the races. He's got it figured out. During the last few testing/"dial in days"...he was flowing like a Boss.
Deano's had a rough go of it over the last few years; yet, even when he didn't have a ride...he went and put his,own program together, loaded up the Sprinter with his dad...
And WENT RACING. They invested in themselves...
The Wilson family has revitalized my "Stoke" in this sport and it's people.
Pit Row
I'm stoked to see Deano finding his groove.
I'm hoping he has a great season outdoors similar to what he did in 2010. Good outdoor results and followed it up with a 2011 championship.
