You probably all know by now I'm a major Dean Wilson fan and that was exactly where I expected him to be that second moto was riding awesome finally the confidence is coming back. Even when he went down in the first moto still rode solid! Pumped for Grant to! What did everyone else think of Rd1?

Yes stoked for both Deano and Grant. at one point I was just hopeful Deano could make a career out of it after all his effort, blood sweat and tears. Grant too for that matter looks like they are both back on track. Deano is one of the likable ones! Ever since he thanked Buddha on the podium he had me Tongue

I'm noticing Deano getting better and better, building confidence, speed, and endurance every week. That's how it is with every racer. You keep improving - until you get hurt. Luckily Deano is paid up actually paid ahead with his injury karma account. Then it starts all over again. The trick is how often does it happen and how do you deal with it. Some racers ala Dungey have minimal injuries and don't have to go through the injury / rehab cycle. Some seem to make a career out of it.

I love seeing racers overcome adversity and I hate to see guys throw in the towel after dedicating their lives to motocross. I'm also looking forward to seeing AC reach his potential. and the Fox racing montage poster of Roczen holding a #1 plate, a picture of him broken and his beef jerky arms in the hospital, and then finally holding a #1 plate again.

Yeah, I was thinking he may have been laying up a little bit in supercross so as to just get through it uninjured and come out ready for motocross..
In any case, great ride for Deano!

Yes.... He was definitely tentative and his starts were pfffff.... That 2nd moto he was charging and passed Bogle, Webb, and Tickle in the same lap holding off tomac. His pace/lap times were with the leaders all day!

Dean put in a great ride.

Bobby deserves a pat on the back. His cheap rider beat several high paid or decently paid riders yesterday.

Incredible ride for Wilson. I so hope he can keep this up.

Super pumped for Dean..... That was a fantastic ride for him, the second moto was excellent. I still think he's one of the most talented guys out there... I can only imagine how mental it is for him these days with all the injuries in the last years? My major sport of choice is one giant mental game, and I know after having an injury it's difficult to get my mojo back to run the hard stuff again, so I'm pretty impressed with how Dean has handled this whole year.

I have a feeling on the right day he can grab moto wins... we shall see.

Congrats Dean! Keep at it kiddo, always been a fan even when things looked bleak.... Hard work WILL get you there! Wouldn't shock me at all to see him pull off an overall this summer. He knows how to win, and has all the resources he needs at hand.....

Super pumped for how good deano did, he truly is a good guy and has a lot of good karma coming back his way..

ill never forget I was at Indiana sx 2 years ago and he was surrounded by girls giving autographs, so im thinkin ok im a guy who wants his autograph but probably not gonna get it, so I yelled deano! and he looked up and just walked right over to me and signed my hat.. what a stand up guy.

Man I wish I could. It was early in his career, but unmistakable. After a rash of evangilizing on the podium by other racers. Never heard it mentioned it again

Remember, he didn't get on the FC450 until late January. He spent some time getting the bike figured out...all the while...STILL getting results.

For outdoors, he's had a full testing schedule and he's not "behind the eight ball" and trying to figure it all out at the races. He's got it figured out. During the last few testing/"dial in days"...he was flowing like a Boss.

Deano's had a rough go of it over the last few years; yet, even when he didn't have a ride...he went and put his,own program together, loaded up the Sprinter with his dad...

And WENT RACING. They invested in themselves...

The Wilson family has revitalized my "Stoke" in this sport and it's people.

That is wacky haha 10-4 and 11-5 but pretty far in the standings. Dean was haulin, they both put in work 1st moto to come from the back of the pack.

I'm hoping that knowing he had the 3rd fastest best lap time, that he'll work like crazy to find that 1 extra second and take it to another level.
I'm stoked to see Deano finding his groove.

Dean did fantastic. The only thing missing in his game is starts it seems.

I'm hoping he has a great season outdoors similar to what he did in 2010. Good outdoor results and followed it up with a 2011 championship.

Yeah I would imagine dean wouldn't be earning compared to what he has earned in the past this year but I'm sure if he keeps going like and they re sign him they will bump it up big time next year. What do you reckon he is on this year? 120k? Then bumped up to something like 500k? I know his first contract at pro circuit he was on 500k it was said in one of the inside the outdoor videos

One thing you can't knock about Deano, he puts in. Dude is fit as fuck and has been shredded up even when he's had knee injuries Could never bag his effort level. Here's hoping the luck stays good!
