Wilson / 3-Time Olympian Kemper / Decotis / Beams / Daytona Amateur SX Scholarships on DMXS Radio Tonight!

It’s time for the Atlanta round of the Monster Energy AMA Championship and we look forward to welcoming all of our family and friends into town for the winter pilgrimage and weekend of fun and racing. We will once again be hosting the DMXS Supercross Pre-Party on Friday night at Door 44 in downtown Atlanta, and the 7th Annual DMXS Ride4AT charity event on Sunday at Bremen Race Park in nearby Bremen, Georgia. Please check out www.Ride4AT.com and www.dmxsradio.com for more information.

Pro Circuit’s Dean Wilson made his SX debut at Indy last weekend and had a solid ride, but will look to improve on those results now that the first round jitters are out of the way. Deano was one of the only kids to secure a pro ride out of the amateurs last year and you know Mitch Payton has an eye for talent. Look for him to dicing up front soon enough.

Who in the hell is James Decotis? You could almost hear that question being asked in a collective gasp as the Peabody, Mass rider was battling the top riders in the first heat of the East coast opener. Speed’s Jeff Emig gave us a little glimpse into his background, but we thought we should just ask James about his path to the gate at Indy.

Three-time Olympian Hunter Kemper is the only American male athlete to be ranked No. 1 in the world by the International Triathlon Union and in the World Cup rankings. Hunter is currently training for the next Olympic Games, but will take a few minutes for an interview with us tonight. Hunter is an advocate for the A-T Children’s Project which is the organization we hold our charity ride for every year. This is the first person on DMXS that has been featured on a Wheaties box, so we will try to not to mess this one up! You can find out more at www.HunterKemper.com and www.atcp.org

We first met Robb Beams from www.MotoEndurance.net at Loretta Lynn’s several years ago as a young trainer working with the Toyota amateur rider program. His hard work and reputation have helped him ascend up the ladder in our sport and he is now training Ashley Fiolek, Adam Cianciarulo, and Ian Trettle. His top-notch riding facility is located in Florida and will be a featured guest at the Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross Championship and the Ricky Carmichael University. Moto E is graciously offering five-$100 scholarships for the amateur supercross race in any class on tonight’s show. The first five emails we receive at dmxsradio@gmail.com after we drop the gate on the contest will have a class entry covered for the race. If you already paid, they will directly reimburse you. So tune into the show tonight for your chance to win.

Mountain Motorsports in Conyers, Georgia will be hosting the rider autographs for Factory Kawasaki and Factory Yamaha and will also include Pro Circuit and Star Racing from 5:30 -8:00PM this Friday night. Ryan Hardwick is the owner, and a huge supporter of our charity ride, and will be on the show tonight with any and all details for the night. DMXS will be there helping, kissing babies, starting food fights, and just being our normal hooligan selves. This is the time and place to get your swag signed because you know how packed those Atlanta pits can get. Check out www.mtn-motorsportsga.com for directions and such.
