Late 1975/early 1976 YZ125C. I know someone who would pay that for the gas tank right now. You should go buy it and part it out on ebay or restore it.

Told him that because of the year actually being 1976 it's only worth $135, not $150. Waiting for response.

He responded that it was a 1975 and he had mislabeled it. I informed him that if it was in fact a 1975 I'd have to adjust my offer to $130.

The only thing worth anything on that bike is the tank. Unless of course you have other YZ's and just need a stack of spare parts. More trouble than worth if you can't just drive over and pick it up though.

I still remember 74-75 CR125's in that condition being given to me back in the early 90's. Salvage yard finds for $25.00-$75.00 all day long. Now, every pile of roasted shit has a $500.00-$1500.00 price tag. No one is buying but they keep asking! My go to price used to be a dollar a cc...if it runs!Smile
