Just saw the news ... RIP.

Back in the 90s without internet it was hard to catch usa / international extreme sports events but i'll allways remember the x-games bmx stuff from him.

And ofcourse playing his game on the ps 1 back in the day.

Sadness. It's a hell of a disease. Such a shame.

I wonder if he had a history of brain injury. Junior Saeu comes to mind.

Best BMX game I've ever played! Man I spent so many hours playing this over the years. RIP to a BMX legend.

Such a bummer. He brought a lot of joy to a lot of people. As a 90's kid, he was one of the guys I looked up to.

Holy shit this is terrible to hear.

Dave Mirra was unbelievable to watch on a vert in his day. X games use to be so special and he had a big part in that.

Sad news. He was one of my childhood heroes in the 90's. I even had his signature shoes. I feel terrible for his wife & kids.

If you look at his instagram, he posted some cryptic shit the last few hours and days.

So sad to see and hear about.

RIP Dave.
