Does anyone remember the year that Damon Bradshaw was racing the 125 stock a class at Loretta Lynns and he crashed in the first turn and went from dead last to win on a stock yz 125 on a year that the yz 125 was supposed to be the slowest bike in the class???
Immediately after crossing the finish line they started tearing his bike apart because someone had protested saying that the bike was modified...
Turned out that the bike was bone stock. He just rode the wheels off that thing that moto....
Sure do miss racing like that, where someone comes along and is just that good!!!

Can anybody validate my memory that this actually happened, or even better, point to when and where? Maybe even a vid?
On the other hand, maybe I just dreamed this up....

Here is the video queued up to the start of the Main.
He might have done it another time too.
Bradshaw was a bad dude.
But,I think Mike Brown had more epic rides that ended in broken bikes, smashed wheels and shit.
I'm 10 ish years older than Mike,we all parked together,Chester,boruff,Mike,Briggs,others I'm forgetting.
Mike still going strong,pretty amazing.
the day I beat him at sugartree in 250b he wanted to run me over but I knew what to do.
Zack was spoiled brat.
