Who's going?? The fiance and I fly in Saturday morning. Didn't get to a SX last year, the first time since 1986, so I'm pretty amped up for this one.

I'll be there. Doing the pits for the first time. I hear it's a bit overrated but I'm prepared for that. I'll also be tailgating.

i'll be there with my son and my dad. I agree on the pits being overrated but my son is 7 so I'm sure he will eat it up. Personally, I wanna go over to see trey and cole, and then I like to walk around the privateer pits and head inside to watch all the practices. I'm sure we are gonna be at the mercy of what the little man wants to do, haha. Anybody know if that crappy diner across the street is opened back up? Looks like the weather in dallas is gonna be perfect.

I'll be there, last year the pits were nothing to write home about. But like most others I'll venture down there since I have a pit pass.

Not sure about your son, but my 9 year old daughter absolutely loved meeting the riders. Forget the factory guys, go back to the second tier guys. My daughter now actually watches supercross with me, and she watches for 2 riders - Matt Lemoine and Steven Clarke. Lol. She was very shy and apprehensive asking for a poster and an autograph, and those guys recognized it and treated her great. I'm surprised they didn't throw her on the back of their bikes and take her for a ride around the track. She still has their autographed posters on her wall, and they are the reason she wants to go back this year. Not sure it would have been the same waiting in line forever to get 5 seconds of distracted time with the big guys.

I'll be there. Gonna check out the pits for the first time too. Anybody know when the pits open/close? I was gonna go after the first set of timed qualifying.

I don't remember the name. It's next to the days inn. It's super nasty and looks like a restaurant Sea Bass would frequent.

I'll be there. I live about 9 miles from the stadium and a friend of mine who lives across the street from the stadium is letting me park there.

That sounds exactly like The Pitt! Haha. I think it's closed down, I drove by there a month or so ago, and it was gutted.
Before he passed away, that was one of my grandpa's old stomping grounds. I went with him for breakfast there once, it was an experience. Lol

In with the family and myself and meeting up with friends from Colorado coming down. This is my first time to Jerry's world and first supercross since Minneapolis the year Dungey won it. We are all pretty amped up as the whole family loves watching racing.

Note: The 12yr old girl and myself had to run to town earlier to grab some supplies and saw the 2 Monster Energy rigs and the BTO rig rolling down the Interstate. She goes "Dad I know who races for Kawi but who races for BTO?" I reply "Andrew Short".
"Oh the really nice guy we met at Budds Creek and I had popsicle all over my face." Yep Andrew thanks you made that little girls day that year.
