Man, the dude, goes down twice, goes to 18th then back to 5th, goes down again and back to 17th, stops by Carlos in the mech area then goes to 5th and scores the fastest time. And all this with an elbow that needs to be drained every day and a bummed shoulder.
No podium for sure, but great ride and speed.
Some of you professional couch drivers will call that contract year, but for me every year is a contract year for a rider, because every year counts,every performance, behavior not just the last 6 months, and riders as well as Teams know that (too bad the memo wasn't sent to the couch too)

It was cool to see the difference in rider techniques. Saps and Windham are tall, smooth and fast. Hahn just pinned it. Many others struggled but for good reason.
I bet Millsaps could ride that track without sitting down.
