I came across this video on YouTube. Some awesome shots. But it brings up a great topic. Who has the craziest style? In a good way or bad?

I can't pick, but that was a great video of all 3 of them hanging it out. I forgot how wild Ryan use to get.

Craziest, I'd say Barcia, but it's not necessarily a compliment. RV has the most aggressive style of the three and Stewart the smoothest and most effortless looking.

Agreed. I didn't necessarily expect JS7 to be the smoothest looking one, but I agree. RV's controlled, ragged edge style was/is, like James, incredibly exciting. JB51 takes me just a little closer to an "accident waiting to happen" territory. Great piece, insane sport!

There was some shots of RV that were way looser then I remember him riding. But I liked it!

Barcia on the Honda 250 looked 200% better than he's ever looked on the YZ.

Stewart was smooth until he was crashing. The razor edge of speed.

Villo was on the back wheel and charging all the time. All the way until the broken coccyx.

RV at Glen Helen when he was chasing MA was something to watch.

One thing is for sure.....there were moments when all three of those guys just flat went for it! Butt on the rear fender and twisting the grip right off the throttle. Thing of beauty to watch.

JS definitely rides like a video game, sometimes you don't get it but it always looks unbelievably smooth. (Except for when it doesn't)

RV to me, is the exact opposite in that he is all over the place, it but still always going forward fast like James.

But Barcia, there are so many times where he does stuff and flat out, it's just energy, it's not generating speed like the other two

James Stewart before he broke his navicular in 2010, (landed on Partridge) and afterward, are two completely different people. That was the turning point. That's when "Bubba" got put in the box.

Bubbas and villopotos style are a result of trying to go as fast as they possibly can, could watch that shit all day. Love watching 'poto do anything he can over the back of the bike to keep the rear wheel on the ground. barcias leg kicks and restarded looking excessive body language with the scrubs are just a waste of energy and are nearly as annoying as his panic revvs

RV: I have always noticed how much he likes to ride the rear wheel, always trying to get as much power to the ground as possible. You can clearly see this in the video as well, his rear wheel almost always lands first off of jumps too. He has a very madskills like riding style that allows for a funky but practical riding style for winning.

Barcia: Barcia has a video game riding style as well, but not in a go fast type of way like RV. Well don't get me wrong he's faster then I will ever be, but I think his style is WAY over exaggerated and a waste of energy. If you watch him scrub it always looks awesome, but if you compare it to RV, stew, roczen etc. he's not staying lower then those guys he's just throwing the bike out more. Which in my opinion is a complete waste of energy, but is awesome for us fans. So I give him the craziest style but not necessarily in a good way for racing, more like a good way for us fans who like huge whips.

Stew: I have to admit this video made me a little bit sad, because we haven't seen that side of Stewart in a LONG time. What can you say about Stewarts riding style other then it is pure poetry, with a touch of insanity. He redefined this sport in so many ways with his style, and riding abilities. In my opinion when he is in the zone, he has the best riding style for awing the fans, as well as making other riders look like they are standing still. So unlike Barcia he is a crowd pleaser, and a race winner with his amazing style.

Agreed. Watching him at Mxon at Budds in 07 is still his greatest IMO. He had that bike glued to the track, power and traction to perfection. I'll never forget hearing his 250f on the right handed sweeper going up the hill after the finish as he tucked in behind the bars in his pattened style. So epic. Long live the Viper.

There's no way around the fact that James has given the most exciting bike handling moments for us viewers. Ever.

No one keeps as low as RV, Looks bad ass ! tucked in attack mode all the time. his head stays down near the bar and its not because he's on the shorter side.

RV is like controlled chaos.
Barcia is like uncontrolled chaos.
Stewart is creative chaos.

I have to say barcia as stylish as it gets BUT rv is just ridiculous in the way that absolutely nothing seems to face him and he just can/could go all out. rv is 110% racer and his style is reflecting that.

There was a bugs bunny character named "Marvin the Martian", to me this is how RV looked tucked in behind the bars at full tilt boogie...
