***I do not need help selling this bike, only trying to make space in garage, not desperate. Save your lowball offers and scams for someone else. I will not bring it to the 'hood for you to test ride, you may ride it in my fenced in back yard once cash is in my hand. No trades for guns, broken 4 wheelers, tattoos, etc. PLEASE only serious enquiries, don't waste my time or yours.***

Well, if he doesn't want a quad, guns, or tat's - offer him some hookers and blow?

Tattoos?!?!

Dafuq! That's a thing?

That thing is sweet, go for it. I'd hit him at 1500 if the bike doesn't need anything.

I went to Mid Ohio Vintage days a couple of weekends ago and a guy was selling a 96 CR250 right out of the crate. Brand New and NEVER started.....$5500 firm was the price.

I would have bought that and then had a raffle on VItal. $50 entry. Winner gets to pop the bikes cherry!

Hahah

I would have that thing on the track that day!

I sent dude on original post an email...he lives right down the street. Going to check it out this weekend. If he moves on price I may have another toy.

hahah so true!

This was literally the first time I was ever on an MX track. Some friends and I rented the place out for the day. That jump was called the jawbreaker.....I was only doing the table...my boys were all hitting the same takeoff and doing the big as stepup that came after it.

I got better...not much but a little better lol. Shit I think that was 15 years ago.. man I am old.

Oh man is that awesome! I would love to have that.

To the OP, I'd offer him $1500. It looks clean and that is a sought after bike for sure. I've been looking for one as well ('96 was the last year of the steel framed CR 250's. I've got a '97 CR 125 that I picked up last fall...need to get after fixing that one).

Is it just me or is $2000 for what's essentially a nice looking 18 year old clapper a little much? Even $1500 is pretty steep IMO. You could get a current gen YZ250 (a way better bike) for like $2500.

That would be the most expensive single piece of furniture I've ever purchased.

A friend of mine ended up taking this bike home with him for less than $5500.

I don't know why anyone would pay big money for bikes in the 90's. Now some 70's or 80's bikes that's another story. The 90's bikes are not that much different that mid 2000's 2t's

I have a 95 with B kit forks, Ohlins shock, Gorr 265 motor. It goes pretty good and is my best turning bike but when I jump on it after riding my 12 250sx it just doesn't hold a candle (:
