ATKPilot, good call. I knew I remember YZ's came wtih the red anodized forks at some point but couldn't recall when.

custom built yamaha yz 300 originally a 250cc everything was built for supercross racing, WON two national races, the bike is 72 hp at the rear wheel. new nickle plated gold series fatty exhaust by fmf. gold chain, new bridgestone tires, new top end pistons and rings, new enlarged double radiators, new suspension, gold tipped bolts, double k&N air filter. the whole bike has been rebuilt for speed all work done by WRS, and Keeney motorsports. for more info contact me only serious buyers please. price is 5600 or negotiable. have the title in hand. runs great will start up on request. over 4200 invested in the bike. the bike is anniversary yellow.

custom built yamaha yz 300 originally a 250cc everything was built for supercross racing, WON two national races (in China), the bike is 27 hp at the rear wheel. new nickle plated gold series fatty exhaust by fmf. gold chain, new bridgestone tires, new top end pistonS and rings, new enlarged double radiators (catch can for the leaks), new suspension (settings), gold tipped bolts (hand painted using my kid's coloring markers), double k&N air filter (for the dual carbs). the whole bike has been rebuilt for speed (originally built for slow) all work done by WRS (my neighbor), and Keeney (my cousin who personally knows Ricky Carmycle) motorsports. for more info contact me only serious buyers please. price is 5600 or negotiable. have the title in hand. runs great will start up on request (will also just sit there on request). over $42.00 invested in the bike. the bike is anniversary yellow.

I love the anniversary yellow tank. My YZ tanks used to turn yellow too. I didn't know there was a name for it, I probably could have gotten more if I had known.

The 90 YZ250 was a sweet bike. Great rear suspension and with a Noleen base valve, great forks. Obviously the engine was purpose built for SX though. Shitloads of low end and no overrev whatsoever. When it was ripping, you better be shifting.
