Maybe, just maybe the thread was in jest given the amount of Herlings vs *insert American rider*' threads we've seen of late? While you're comprehending that, consider questioning yourself too, nearly 2,000 posts in 16 months may show who is 'that bored' eh.

this was no ordinary race. Worst track conditions ive seen in a long time. Febvre is currently in 19th and Gajser in 18th and not gaining much ground. Not taking anything aeay from covington this race though, he was probably the only one that did not crash. He rode awesome and safe!

Yeah, I know, crazy. A bit of a fluke, but it is IN the record books!

I was trying to prep the bikes for riding today, but had to watch TC get it done.

Don't be a dick. It's a only a joke, don't get pissy because Covington won. He deserved it, he rode great and really kept his calm in a race of real attrition. Herlings still had a great race all things considered, he started outside on the gate and crashed twice, he still made great gains in the championship. I'm sure it will go back to normal in race 2 unless the rain comes again

Covington rode great, just kept his head and stayd upright while everyone else fell by the wayside.

I thought Herlings looked exhausted at times.

really? haha i think its great Covington won , he was the best out there in race 1 and fully deserved to win

Yep, it'll be interesting to hear his thoughts at some point but I would guess that he got winded. After the race you could really see him on the finish line sort of doubled over on the bike, sucking in the air.

Congratulations to Thomas he rode great. Good turnaround for the team lately with Anstie getting some wins and now Covington grabbing at least a moto so far today.

Anstie bumped himseff of the podium. If he would have ridden behind Prado and not trying to pass and fall and lose one more position, he would have been on the overall podium instead of Prado
