With all the bashing that goes on in here I just wanted to send a compliment to all involved regarding the coverage. I loved the shots that were going to the go pros on JG and the "pocket rocket" were really cool. Got to watch he first motos on the iPad and both second motos in HD on the tv. Well done guys including broadcasters Weege who is still rooning the sport
and GL. Braaaaaaaaaaap.
I'm like alot of guys here, I haven't watched the last 4 races on television. Only the streaming online. Its waaayyy better. Don't have Mavtv for 1st moto's anyway, so once I start online, I give my username and password from my cable carrier, and just watch all four moto's.
Its excellent, NO 25 minutes of commercials for me.
TV & moto, just don't mix anymore. Step back, & Put down the remote.
The Shop
There are always two sides, however, there is one side about nbc's coverage that is the vast majority. The majority has spoken and they say that it was terrible. I had a "non-moto" person watching it with me and he said that he could never tell what was going on except for the consistent commercials and their breaks. I felt embarrassed and had to explain it and he said, "Oh, you mean there is a point to MX, I have never seen a broadcast that confuses the viewer more than that one".
It honestly makes me sick reading some of the crap on here. People behind the scenes are working their asses off to bring you racing, and then you bash them like no tomorrow. Maybe try being happy about something for a change?
Pit Row
GL and Weege are doing a great job and today when James crashed in the second moto and Jason and GL simultaneously let out gutteral moans followed by a moment of silence for James' "Man Area", well that was pretty funny...kind of.
Yeah theres a lot of commercials but oh well...
