Just got word that him and his father were in a bad wreck and have both passed away. Very sad news. Thoughts and prayers for the family. Some might remember Cody riding a 250 2-stroke for nationals recently. RIP Cody.
Heard they were on their way to GNCC race and blew a tire on the motor home. Motor home flipped and caught fire.. So tragic.
Also heard Cody was supposed to take over a fill-in ride for GNCC starting this week or next.
RIP Cody
The Shop
Never met Cody in person but have been have followed him through social media for a few years... Seemed like a great guy with a level head and a good family... This blows...

The fire will make it hard for sure to see build date on tires but paper work could have it .
It was most likely a front which kinda means it was operating normally because if it was low pressure caused you know it low because a motorhome tells you by bad handling if the tire is low.
Sooo sad and a terrifying way to go.
Pit Row
as already mentioned, he would do anything to help anybody.
Got to know him over the years from them attending my events and can't ever recall an issue that didn't involve a big grin.
A true loss for the mx and off road communities.
I know it's cliche but don't leave anything on the table with your family, let everyone who matters know they're important and loved every time you see them or talk.
Never met and have only followed on social media since that ride on the YZ in '15 but seemed like a real nice kid. And good kids generally have a good dad around.
