Chest Protectors

I'm 45 and have been racing since I was 15 years old. Have had about every injury you could get except shoulder injuries. I broke my sternum from the impact of my chest hitting the crossbar in about 1987. After that I wore HRP type protection and never had an issue since. I did start wearing one of the under jersey type full protection 661 but thinking about switching back to my HRP's. I firmly believe the HRP's saved me from having shoulder problems/breaks. Who knows?
