For as long as I have lived, even though it's only 30 years, there have been the same criteria to win a championship. I literally have some old Gary Semics VHS tapes that say the same things as KTM keys to the moto.(passion, talent, dedication, starts). Now I'm not for e chase and reversing points, I think that's a horrible idea (Mathes I love you but NO)...what can we change?

I like it just the way its been. Ok, more outdoor nationals, less supercross. 1 premier class, any bike you wish, and a support class, any bike you wish.

I wouldnt want to change too much....but this sport that i love has become a bit cooke,, cutter. im definitely not in favour of flipping points as I think thats a bit mickey mousey. But maybe go back to old methods of qualifying? Mix it up,,

I still think the scoring needs to change to
1 = 50
2 = 47
3 = 45
and so on till
10th = 31
11th = 30
12th = 29
and so on till
39th = 2
40th = 1

This way everyone who qualifies for a national and races gets points. This would benefit the privateers with sponsorship. Just think of those riders that struggle to get to each national and are 24th or something - if they got points for that there sponsor will ultimately get a bit more exposure. Leading to more sponsorship's.

I think in both mx and SX riders should be allowed to "toss out" their worst race and not have it count. A rider shouldn't have title hopes blown if he gets sick or someone else crashes into him or there's a mechanical issue.
