Chad was was worlds ahead of all the other guys today. He almost won the second race after going down in the first turn, and it was only a 6 lap race.

Similar story in the lites, Mat Moss looked to be in a class of his own.

Chad was unbelievable through the woops today, imo he looks better on his kawasaki than he did on his Suzuki

I thought Chad looked great but his bike sounded wrong to me.. it was constantly popping and on the limiter. I had mates with me that know very little about bikes and they were asking why his bike sounds like that.. so i wasnt imagining things. Obviously it was fine, as he owned the track tonight. His bike looked fast even though it sounded different to me.. His speed he carried through the woops was amazing.. Reardon is the holeshot king and rode well. Burner Got taken out in the last moto i think it was, he looked to have been un comfortable in the shoulder area as he watched on. Matt Moss again was fast.. Hope he gets the oppurtunity to race in the states for at least a couple of seasons. Kyle Cunningham was good to watch also. Hope to see more American riders next year to test and practice.

Just out of curiosity did you notice his bike popping and splattering when he was on the line or in the race? Or both?

As you guys will probably see on the footage, Burners suspension was modified honda forks and shock done by KROOZETUNE SUSPENSION and it looked to be better that Reardons suspension he brought with him from the US. I watched them hit the woops all night and was suprised how good they can get the OEM stuff to work. See if you think the same when you see footage.
Congrats to TYE SIMMONDS. He showed great speed on that orange non linkage machine! It looked like the bike was doing the business for him

I did notice that badly on the line but also on track... it almost sounded like he has a launch control or trans break set up or something going on. It sounded weird as when the 5 second board came out he just held it on the limiter till the gate dropped. I just never heard him ride on the limiter like that before.

Yep I thought so. Apparently he is running a launch control system that implements a rev limiter when he's on the line, this means he can hold it wide open and the bikes revs are limited, allowing him to get great traction.
I'm not sure how but it must have a system where it cuts out as soon as he leaves the gate so that his bike can rev properly and freely. Possibly when he shifts gears or something like that.
His bike sounded like shit on the line but as soon as the start was complete it sounded normal again.

Thats interesting, i thought something was different.. It be clutch sensitive i would think?? I was sitting in the stands along the rythm section on the first straight and his bike was popping a fair bit coming past us i thought. Probably sounded worse cos it would of echoed in the stands. my ears were ringing when we left, loved it..

Yeah not sure but thats what I have heard and the commentators were also talking about it on tv when he was on the line in the man on man. How good was the man on man racing? Tye Simmonds and Ando took it to chad hey!

Yeah I think Tye is definately our next american prospect, along with Matt Moss. I agree that Chad didn't look 100% there yet, but he still looked really fast especially through the whoops, his suspension looked as dialled in there as I ever saw it on Suzuki and he's only been on the bike a little while.

Anyone see Matt Moss jump that monster mountain thing? I never saw anyone else hit that, including Reed.

Wonder what they did to make that Kawi turn cause you know the Zook owns the corners.

Chad said on the podium that they worked their ass off on the bike during the week and the bike is unbelievable.

Did he also mention how much traction he got from his Dunlop tires and that he's never felt so comfortable in his Thor gear?

He def looked good in the whoops... But he always has... It's just important that he feels comfortable cause Chad will stink it up if he doesn't but rip if he does...
