Looks like Carson Brown signed a deal with Cycle North Honda up here in Canada. I don't know if it's just for the Arenacross series put on by Future West or if he's signed on with them to compete in the entire Triple Crown Series put on by Jetwerx in 2018.

Sure is different seeing him on Red.

Pretty sure a couple years ago Cycle North had riders doing the complete MX series but they've scaled back their efforts a couple years ago.

That said you're more than likely right that it'll just be for the Future West series.

Not sure what Carson's plans are after that. Is he still riding amateur national's in the "A" class? Didn't he move up to pro not that long ago.

Unrelated but I guess with Epstein in at OTSFF it means Tim is out. I figured he only had a 1 year deal anyways. Don't think he'll privateer the whole MX series. If he does anything it'll more than likely be just the East rounds. Any plans on following his Sno X season? Starts this weekend.

I could be wrong, but I heard there's a good chance he'll be racing Supercross down this way in '18 on a Husqvarna...

From what I've heard his deal with Team Green was up when he turned Pro this year. He was hauling ass this weekend, he had a little bad luck in one of the mains and came together with Shawn Maffenbeiner, he was dead last and still managed to finish 5th on the night. But you can tell he's still getting use to the Honda's.

Right now he's sitting first overall in the pro lights class and third in the pro open class.

Hmmm interesting, I would think when he signed with Cycle North he would have had to agree to race the two last rounds of the series which is Feb 2nd & 3rd and Feb 24th 2018.

Of course that's just a guess.

What I do know though is Cycle North has a long history of winning championships in our AX series so it was awesome to see them get Carson. Such a nice kids with some series skills on the bike, it was crazy watching how he was riding the 450 this weekend.
