As you have probaby all watched the HH intro video, you know that Carey handed over the 'first ever backflip bike'.. This is a obviously a lie, as for the first flip he was an all out moto xxx guy, running their famous dice graphics. But in all the pics, the bike has flame graphics from one industries.

The bike he handed over was the one from 01? Dizzy The year he crashed the flip indoors..

It's still kind of a memory of a flip bike, but unless he kept the same bike for those years, he's a: "Big fat phoney". But, to add to that, he's said "hasnt been started since i rode it off course".. He didnt ride 'off course' he was on a stretcher..

And, If he hadnt ridden it, why the new gaphics and why the new works connection quick adjust clutch?

The actual bike:

The so called 'backflip bike' handed over:

Before anyones quick to junp in and say "same bike".. Check out the wheels, exhaust etc.. Added with the fact you literally started a revolution on the thing, so why not keep it exactly how it is..?

I'll still love him and the whole HH crew. Just dislike being lied to. But on a funny side, least his stitched up the casino's for once..

You don't think that maybe they dressed the bike up a bit since it is going to be a show piece?

I mean it has been 11 years, maybe that thing was lookin ratty.

You sound like a "big fat weirdo".

Unless you have access to the bike's VIN number, one can only assume that the bike had plastics and wheels changed at some point in it's life.

who cares, dude is getting some publicity for the sport and bringing in outside sponsors. I don't care if it was the "1st backflip bike" or the bike he tried the 1st backflip at the X Games on.

It'll be housed in the sports bar at the Sycuan Casino, where it'll join some Jimmy Johnson memorabilia.

"he didn't ride it off course, he was on a stretcher"

You type that BS but link a video that shows him run to the top of the jump in excitement, his dad comes running out and hugs him, etc etc. Where does the stretcher come in? Call into the Pulp MX Show on Monday and talk to Watson, he will give you the run down I'm sure........................right before he says "Go Hang Yourself"

Carey Hart did the first backflip, therefore he is beyond criticism.

Are you iliterate? The bike he flipped (first link) he runs to the top the jump. The second attempt indoors, he left on a stretcher. The bike photographed at the event is the one from then. Therefore, he didnt ride it off course..

Carey Hart did the first backflip on a full sized bike. Bob Kohl was backfilpping a CR80 years before.

Didn't he end up breaking his foot on the first ever attempt?

Even though he didn't technically land it... he deserves first backflip for sure.

I think he compressed vertebra in his back in the 1st flip in 2000. I think he broke his ankle in that first one he landed at x games in 2002

Haha....Watson thought i started this topic. I of course didnt but, i'd like to chime in. I said a few things about it on Pulp tonight but ya, Carey was 100% for sure, riding on a bike that we.. Moto XXX got for him and it had Moto XXX graphics on it. Some might say "who cares" but ya know what...i do cause credit should be given where credit is due no? We helped Carey out in the early days. Anyhow, it was indeed a bike with Moto XXX graphics on it and thats how the bike should appear. Not with THQ graphics on it. Lame in my little opinion...

Thank you! It all went down to Plano and Watsons previous relationship with them. I know half of what i wrote up there is complete sh$t. But, I'd had a few, and if I'd literally written "It's the wrong bike" there'd be a million people telling me what a dick I am, as opposed to a few tards who are incapable of noticing that me saying about the bike, is completely irrelevant to Carey doing the flip. Jheez if people were capable of actually taking in what they read..

My initial point was the bike that will now be seen by thousands of people as the: "first backflip bike" isn't in fact at all the first back flip bike! I wasn't taking away the flip from Carey like some people are saying (mongs). He did the flip (obviously some people disagree to that and made it clear on here). Big respect to Carey for changing fmx forever, but he's completely done over that stupid casino guy.

It's not the same bike, It's a different one. If you're saying you "don't care" and are argueing that he did the flip and will always be remembered for it. It's necessary for people to actually remember it. I do clearly and I also remember he was riding a complete Moto XXX bike. Not some shady ass flame bike, thats from around the same era. As said above, (actually by Moto xxx) it's a Moto xxx bike and that's how it should be.

You've fooled the Indians, but not me Carey! Wink

Aha! Was that the one part of the flip pack? Where you had the handlebars to control it? And it run of a little arn that connected to the rider and he'd just do flip after flip? I still mine boxed. Lol!

Post a reply to: Carey Hart and the so called 'first ever backflip bike'..
