Edited Date/Time 3/16/2016 1:30pm
According to David Vuillemin's FB page, Canard might go to Kawasaki to take Hahn's ride next year, as he'll be replaced to Honda by Roczen...

Were you acting as Treys agent while you were banned at Vital Kongols?

That is a very likely scenario. Kawasaki can afford Canard since his results have been bad for several months/years. And he has a race win potential, probably not championship potential but he can win races and he will be relatively cheap. And before someone gets angry at me for that statement i and probably Honda expect that Trey Canard, their number one guy would win races and be in a championship fights!

And the upside for Trey would be very big, yes the money wont be as good but he should be happy that he can get a place on a A-level team and a fresh start to build on

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with Motofinne's post. The last year Trey was healthy for outdoors, 2014, he won four motos, finished on the podium in eight others, tallied 10 fourth place finishes, and finished 7th and 11th in the only two motos where he didn't finish in the top four. He finished third in the points.
Last year in SX (2015), he competed in eleven races before injury ended his season, notching two wins and seven total podiums.
There are very few riders who are able to deliver the results that Trey has, when he is healthy, both indoors and out.

I agree with all that except one thing. And it is pretty important when a team/rider is going for a championship hunt. Staying healthy is necessary. And the problem with Trey is that he can't stay healthy, and i don't buy the "he is so unlucky" explanation. Yes for a certain amount there is bad luck when it comes to Trey but there has been so many incidents when he makes bad decisions and mistakes that a 450 champ can't unfortunately afford.

Of the top/fastest riders in the sport, which can we say definitely have the ability to stay healthy? Only Dungey comes to my mind. Roczen, Tomac, Stewart, Barcia, and Canard have all missed a significant number of races over the last couple of years. The injury bug can bite anybody at anytime, but with two year contracts being the norm for factory riders, Trey may be as likely as any of the top guys, except Dungey, to have a complete season. I think that what he brings, when he is healthy, is enough to outweigh the possibility that he may miss more races due to injury than some of the others I mentioned. How many complete seasons has Barcia had with JGR? Kenny has been plagued with injuries and illness lately, Tomac crashes way too much, most people say. For my money, which isn't paying any riders' salaries, I would say that Trey is one of the five most desirable guys currently competing on a 450.

Yeah keep forgetting what a scrub Eli was on the Honda, guy could only win by a minute and half before he got hurt outdoors. He wasn't too shabby indoors either.

I don't usually get that excited for team changes, but I really wanna see Kenny on a Honda.

I'm exciting about that change too. I think he is talented enough to ride any bike without any problems, but I'm sure he could be really easy and loose on the red machine.

Preliminary possibility. I don't dispute one bit they're in talks and both will happen. I'm saying they're not a "done deal" considering I highly doubt contracts have been signed at this point.

OK, how about this. KR deal is done. Trey`s possible done. Since DV is working for Kawasaki, he might know that Trey`s deal is done. So...

And Tomac wasn't? He has more combined titles and wins than Kroc does over here?
