It was a Hot for The Canadians, that's for damn sure.

The MX2 race kicked off the series with an AWESOME surprise: Dylan and the Muffster racing to the front and racing each-other for the Win. This is where I confuse Moto 1 & 2...Dylan won Moto 1 & had front brake failure in Moto 2.

MX1 Moto 1, obviously my favorite, saw Matt and Davi go to the front. A few times during the moto, Davi made a run at Matt. Matt was able to control the race from the front...which is EXACTLY what Davi did in Moto 2!

In Moto 2, Matt lost too many slots in the 1st 2 turns and spent the rest of the Moto trying to get to the front...& it didn't go well. He even put it down, once. Meanwhile, Davi had the time to ride smoooth and extremely "Smart": He chose some AMAZING lines and went around most of the stuff that was beating the hell out of Colton and Matt as they raced each-other. After the race, Matt took his gloves off and showed us the most torn up left-hand I've ever seen...pic's are available out there in social-media land and else-where...
Davi? He looked like he was ready for another Moto.

This year is gonna be good...

Im pretty sure the tangle with jeremy in t 1 of first moto ended his day.theres a sequence of the crash floatin around from canadian motoshow

I asked 'cause I started thinking it was Davi...I couldn't be sure because...

When they came back around to start lap 2, the "cut-across" line had been graded by the dozer and they both almost flew right in to us as they were "washing out thru the turn" right in front of the Rstar awning...then I remembered looking and seeing it was Benoit as I was RUNNING...

I gotta be honest, I was skeptical.. I wasn't sure he would have the fitness/preparation going. But he was absolutely fantastic, and seemed like he could have went right out for a third moto.
