Yep. That was domination. Almost last to first with time to spare.

That has to be really demoralizing for Dungey. Dungeys podium speech was bullshit. It sounds like an early season speech when it is too late. Tonight's ride was not good enough. He talks like he's got time to fix it.

Equal. I was at Toronto 2014. James started further forward, but he was also the only dude to figure out that one rhythm. Eli just did that shit doing the same rhythms faster than everyone else.

Both performances were absolutely unbelievable. Can't take away from either one.

Eli didn't even need to have a good start to win it!

I can't think of a rider that was that much faster than the top rider in the sport week after week, Dungey isn't doing anything wrong. How long until Southern Colorado is the new Florida?

I can respect that. Both awesome. I think the weight if this one with the points race might have made it cooler.

Stick a fork in Dungey. He just doesn't seem (to me) to have the fight in him. Do i blame him? Nope, is what it is. Congrats to Tomac. Clinic for sure.

Eli's better off to hold off on the start so he doesn't get collected in the first turn. Then cruise to victory as he flies by the competition.

Thats Salt Lake City redemption for Tomac after he blew the 2013 250 west championship there. Amazing to see a guy that can do something like that pull it out of the bag and make everyone else look slow.

Loved those floor level shots when ET3 was in 2nd and dungey would be on a straight and tomac would be destroying a berm hunting him down. He wasn't going to be stopped

There are some amazing champions that spend their entire careers without a ride like that.

Indeed, a clinic.
Who were those that put wagers on Dungey winning the championship..?

Stewart came from 14th. Not even close to Torontos performance. Stewart probably turned in the best ride in SX history that night. Carmichael in Pontiac 2002 is second. Chad Reed in San Diego 2005 was impressive. Tomac really only had Anderson that is a normal front runner to get around tonight. Everyone else he passed are top 5-10 guys. He rode awesome tonight for sure, but that ride he put in to get 2nd behind Dungey earlier this season was more impressive to me.

No way does Dungey want to ride THAT fast. That is so incredibly dangerous to be at the absolute limits of what a person/machine is capable of. Tomas is on the razors edge and somehow keeping it on two wheels. We are really watching something special right now. I don't think its possible to go faster than Tomac is going right now.

Funny thing is in this race at least it didnt look like Tomac was taking any extra risks after he got thru the pack. He had more speed in the turns, scrubbed the rhythms harder and was like butter thru the whoops. It was nothing like seattle or Oakland where he was doing something to make up a 1/2 second every lap.

Dungey did great tonight, but god damn Eli looked like he was riding around on a turbocharged cloud! The shit he was doing was unreal, made a gnarly Supercross track look small...

Eli was just pounding the whoops- his speed he carried into the inside of the turn afterwards was just incredible. It surprised even Dungey.. Dunge went wide to try and carry his speed in the berm, but Eli came in so freakin hot I thought he'd need an arrester hook to make the corner-

Changing of the Guard- Sh*t just got real.

Better than Toronto 14. Might be better than Indy 07. It's a close one.
