Considering I put $5K into my kids KTM 50 almost 10 years ago, the $5K price tag isn't all that bad. The new KTM SXS 50 looks to be a badass bike, aside from having the WP aer air forks on them. Not sure what they were thinking on that one, but trick bikes non the less.

3 hours ago and no help yet. Let me try. Tighten the muffler bearing and go up one notch on the powerband.. They are notorious for the throttle cable being too short. Get a cable stretcher and good luck

Considering what a worthless hunk of crap the WP forks are on the current 50 and 65, the air forks have to be an upgrade.

Good news is, when it does get fixed, the little one can start racing motorcross. , Make sure you give him the air throttle sign everytime he rides past you. Also, make sure you check to see if the valves are in spec.

Rotate the air in the tires, tighten the piston nuts , and polish the Johnson rod.
I'm having a prob with my pw plug wet with gas after only one kick. When I got it only ran at idle. Messed with screws then wouldn't run. Cleaned gas filter. Sat for year. Got hi po coil. Good spark now. Cleaned all of carb except pilot jet. Backed idle screw out tried one kick still wet plug. Is choke not seating properly? Won't start with starter fluid. Any help? Thanx in advance.

Just have to check, there are a lot of dummies out there:

Did you switch from "start" to "run" on the handlebar switch after you start it? You wouldn't believe how many people come in to my shop with PW's that will "only idle" that just need to learn how to use the switch...

Ya it's on start. Had switch apart because I had weak spark thought it might need cleaning . Turned out to be bad primary wire to coil.

Cool, just checking! It's always funny to see the embarrassed look on people's faces when all I do is flip the switch to "run" SillyGrinning
