First apologize for calling it "Cali." Then maybe there will be enough forgiveness on this forum for someone to help you.

I'd recommend Zaca Station, but you need to be on their "gate list", since it's partially owned by California. But for SoCal, definitely Cahuilla, Milestone, Perris, and The Ranch.

Didn't have enough space in the title for California.

Depending on the style of riding:

Outdoor Motocross: Zaca and Cahuilla are really fun hilly tracks. Glen Helen has crazy hill climbs, when I first came to California, I was stoked to ride this. Priu MX is like a mini Glen Helen, small track but fun. The dirt is really good there the last few weeks.

LACR just opened and it's a sandy track from what it looks like.

Milestone is cool to ride, but it's in an industrial complex, so not very scenic. IMO

It's REALLY good. A friend of mine bought the property almost a year ago. He has put in countless hours EVERY week to prep the track to perfection. He invested in a brand new dozer and a power attachment that churns the dirt up to 12" deep (which is almost unrideable at that depth.... 6-8" seems to be the perfect depth to create deep ruts in the corners and stay moist all day. I'm glad to see that others appreciate his efforts, he really busts his ass.

Milestone in the morning and Starwest at night was my recipe! Haven't ridden the new layout at Starwest but last time i was there i had a blast. Also, if you haven't done it before, riding under the lights is an awesome feeling!

For real moto,
Glen Helen.
Cahuilla creek.
Then for a mix of moto and jumps,
Comp edge.
Lacr.
Then just jumps,
Perris.
Milestone.
Elsinore.
Starwest.
In that order.
No more ranch, pala, or 395.
Barona further south, piru a ways west, zaca a long way northwest.

Zaca may be alittle outta the way for what you are looking for, but if you have the means. You will not regret it. One it's an amazing track with a killer lay out and dirt that is sent from above (in the morning anyways), but it's the aesthetics of the area that will leave the impression that lasts a life time.

Rolling hills as far as you can see, cypress trees that bend and touch the ground like you see in books, and you can smell the ocean in the air.

I go once a year to camp, and truth be told after riding I like to just to walk the hills and look at the the landscape. When you have the " 6 practice motos fatigue" the landscape just pops that much more.

Enjoy your trip dude!

Piru dirt is so good this last year. Little small but wet loamy dirt makes up for it.

Glen Helen track prep last weekend was the best I have seen it years, but DITD is Thanksgiving weekend so no open riding. I'd do Cahuilla or LACR.

Glen Helen was my least favorite... I like Cahuila and Milestone way better.

Well, Elsinore was below Glen Helen...but at least they had flaggers there.
