If her came here he would kick ass.

I doubt he would start well in Supercross, but he has the skills to learn it quickly.

In outdoors he is a title contender if not a favorite from day one. Yep I said it, even if RV was in the mix, I think TC would be the favorite.

The thing that irritates me in the GPs is the fact that almost everybody let Cairoli easy pass (like an open door).

"Owh It's Cairoli behind me, it is impossible for me to beat him, come on through mister Italian" Whistling

In the US he would have been rammed, block passed, run over after the first turn

I doubt that, there are some that can ride a track like they are humvee taking up the whole lane (Alessi). However most are focused on the track ahead as you should be, and when he passes, you do not have much time to respond.

How would you block pass when he is behind you? Rammed? How much does that happen with the top guys? A true ram is what Alessi pulled during SX and was blasted and fined for it.

Taking someone high is common in AMA, but you have to catch them first....

I think so, but we'll never see him try. Tony makes millions in Europe and is comfortable there. He ain't making the trip.

I don't think we'll ever know. Looks like he will stay over there and try to break Evert's record. Makes that class so predictable.

You know,Cairoli can switch really fast in the pitbull-mode.The same is valuable for Desalle.

I don't know but I'd damn sure love to see him try the US at least once to settle it once and for all. Jeffrey Herlings too. I'd like to think our guys are the top talent in the world but I'm afraid to say I think that gap is closing. When Desalle came over he sure surprised me. On more familiar equipment and some time to adjust it sure seems he would have been a regular front runner. Those GP dudes are so amazing in crazy rough conditions.

Watch many GP, Kloot? I've seen a lot of TC passes, and I seem to have missed the ones where everybody just pulls over. He's like RV when he's in beast mode, he just passes...does not hesitate. I doubt very seriously he'd get rammed here.

Ok, I'll be "that guy." Tony is one of the best Ive ever seen. He would obviously be a top contender for the 450 title straight away. Buuuuuuuuuut, (had to be one of those) he did have a competitive race at the USGP with Alessi who was the only higher level American to show up. He won, no doubt. Mike also rode his heart out. But he didn't just wax Mike like he was nothing. My feeling is Tony would have a great chance of beating RV for a GP title and RV would have a great chance of beating Tony for a National title. Dungey as well. Although I will admit that Herlings would probably win the 250f title over here without a lot of issue against the current crop.

to be fair, the same could be said for Villopoto when it comes to passing, too (and don't freak out fan boys, I like RV)

No doubt he'd be a front runner. Cool dude as well and wore all black gear while mourning the loss of his dad. Cairoli is another one of those "how can you not like the guy" blokes.

Watch Supercross Phoenix 2014 and look at Brayton, I haven't seen anyone in the GPs series defending like he did that night (yeah it is supercross and not motocross but most GPs tracks are like supercross anyway).

I'm American to the bone, but I don't think anyone on the planet can touch Herlings. The guy is a complete animal. They should wheel him to the starting line like this.

I agree. I spectated for years before I decided to participate. Sometimes I wonder what the hell I was thinking by getting involved, haha
