CP has beef with MC?

9/13/2012 6:46 AM

CP qui signe un maillot mcgrath, je n'y crois toujours pas que j'ai signer sa par ce que il a dit beaucoup de choses pas bien sur mon image.

CP who signs a mcgrath shirt, I did there think always that I have sign its by what he has said many things not on my image.
CP is signing mcgrath jerseys, i still believe that i signed it because all the bad stuff that he said about including me in the past.

9/13/2012 6:51 AM

Huh?

9/13/2012 6:54 AM

the translation is rough, it's google french to english. looks like he is saying "im signing this shirt, but mcgrath talked a lot of shit about me back in the day."

I want this guy back in the states. a healthy happy Bubba, and Christophe on the gate are two of the best things that could happen for 'murikin motor-crawss.

9/13/2012 6:58 AM

McGrath was very critical of Pourcel because of the money he was asking for a while back.

That's what he says yes...

I don't really like CP, but for what it's worth, I really do believe that what happened between these two in just a big misunderstanding due to CP being lost in translation back in the day.
McGrath was showing CP a rythm section, on the Honda track I think or whatever, that was quite difficult , CP said: "No can't do that!" which would have meant to me "You're a bad dude if you do that", I think it was a compliment, but CP awkwardly insisted. Maybe I'm wrong, but CP's english was nearly about as good as his negociation abilities back in the days, lol...

That's right too. But it's a whole. This plus the fact that McGrath misunderstood the compliment made CP a greedy cocky guy that think he's better than he actually is in Jeremy's eyes. In fact, it seems he's not far from the truth but I really do believe that what happened between on that track them is just a unfortunate incident...

Why is he signing a McGrath jersey in the first place? Shouldn't he be signing a cp 377 jersey?

9/13/2012 7:22 AM

When CP first came over here he was being courted by Honda. McGrath had a couple personal interactions with him and from MC's side of the story it didn't go well.

Maybe Pourcel is going to be riding for Mc/Brooks

For now, we know nothing about that. Last news from today is his brother had to try a Yami (JK or Rinaldi? info motoverte.com) and it seems Christophe did try the bike too but it's not 100% sure. It's seems Monster will sign a big check (700k euros) cause they want a Monster guy to beat the Red Bull guys (Monster being the World Championship sponsor, they're quite a bit pissed) so who knows. CP didn't dislike the Yamaha, he really liked the Valli one but took the best money contract thinking the yzf was a good base and he could make the MotoConcepts evolved in the Valli one direction. Unfortunately, we all know the ridiculous way it ended...

Hey, remember that "promise" Yamaha made to Dean Wilson about having a proper bike for him to ride as early as the nationals for 2013? He didn't take it. But what if this "promise" and JGR money were combined to lure the guy over?

I-M-P-O-S-S-I-B-L-E!!
CP likes to do his own thing, he has his home in Florida, trains the way he likes, when he wants to. No way he ends up in a boot camp in North Carolina, no fucking way! lol

9/13/2012 7:47 AM

There is another guy who has a house in FL, rides Hondas, he has expressed interest in a second rider.

I would say money would be the problem, BUT I do believe it would match. First of all the Two Two Hondas seem really good bikes, PC is involved, plus Reed likes also to do his thing so I think he would understand CP way of acting. But I don't know if they would really get along .

CP isn't in a position to demand a whole lot of money. With all the fast 250 boys moving up there are many fast riders to choose from. And Pourcel isn't what he once was.

And he needs to do something to prove it, pretty soon!

He can't float about forever, he seems more interested in pushing his new 377 brand than racing at the moment.

Exactly. His facebook page has become his online store, lol.

But I've been told he created this brand for his parents, to thank them for all the sacrifices they've done for him and his brother in the past. Kind gesture if that's true.

This guy is a little bit like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, lol...

Interesting interview with Honda Europe manager Roger Harvey where they discuss CP a little bit around the 35mins...

I think CP is awesome if a little mysterious.

He is always cool as a cucumber too.

I would be happy if he stayed in GPs but would love to see him in the USA as well.

Hopefully he will land somewhere on a competitive bike.

Was the yamaha test for GPs or AMA?

I sure do miss watching that guy ride.

He was a shark in a pool of fish, except for that one other shark named Canard.

I remember two years ago McGrath said Pourcel should just leave the country or something and didn't like Pourcels attitude about America or Americans.

he had quite a lot for canard, and dungey the year before!.....washoughal second moto 2009, thats the cp we need!
he did give tc a run for his money last weekend too, so definitly not losing speed he nearly got him on the last lap of moto2 and with broken shoulder!

As I told, 100% sure about Sebastien, not sure about Christophe. It was for the GPs for Yamaha JK or Rinaldi, not sure neither...
