Watched a youtube moto world highlight of the race. Forgot Bayle wore an open face at that one. Guessing that was the last time anyone used an open face at a pro event.
Thanks for the pic. Wasnt having much luck on finding them. Oscottie has the full 250 race posted on here. Awesome watch.

he rode it in 2003 outdoors. He placed 3rd? 2nd? overall at southwick of course in front guys like windham and ferry

Sums up old school v new school of riders. Does it for the love v does it for dads love and pushed to resent it.

Remember this like it was last week. Dowd went 3-3 as I remember. The most humbling part though was in the pits, where amongst all the factory semis was this white mini van and the Dowd family having a barbecue whilst John was prepping his own bike, all relaxed like it was a practice day. True motocross icon. Us brits adopted him that day as one of our own

2003 Southwick National. Dowdy finished 2nd overall behind Carmichael. I have his bike. I can't ride anymore and I need to sell it.
