Tampere Supercross in Finland next weekend, there will be a few americans there but the lineup isn't that great(Harri Kullas will probably dominate). The event needs some JT$.

These type of events hold absolutely no significance whatsoever. It's just practice and a bit of pocket money for the American guys leading up to Bercy/Lille.

Of course they hold no significance, that goes without saying, but where is our winter sx?! Like the ones we had in the late 90's... Watching MC ride was so cool! Those races are the reason I love our sport the way I do now.

Actually it is a pretty cool 22-second Arenacross track.

We have quite a popular UK Arenacross series, which is basically what this race in Sofia is; Arenacross. Somehow they're able to lure the US guys with enough money to race them, but as I said I think they just use them for practice.

The only UK indoor event I've ever been to was at the NEC in 92(?) which Larry Ward won. Tiny little SX tracks just don't interest me really.

But the is no draw power in our ax series which is the point I was trying to make which you ignored..

Shit man, I'd watch Kenny, Eli, Cairoli ride around a flat field given the chance. That was the point I was trying to make. I don't care what you want to call these things, i just think it sucks we don't have an opportunity to see guys like Brayton, Malcolm or Hanny ride at a little event like this..

Do you understand where I'm coming from now??

The one non-American that was fast today is this 17-year old German kid on a Suzuki. He’s legit. Name is Brian Shu

I do see where you're coming from, and I addressed it - the promoters of these obscure little European SX/Arenacross events are willing to pony up the cash for the high profile riders, whereas the British promoters (probably based past experience) have obviously decided it's not worth the financial burden. Maybe they hope people will come no matter what and to be fair the fans that do go to watch seem to enjoy it.
