When people talk about the "The best National track" to spectate, it seems BC is seldom mentioned.

You always hear Glenhelen (YES!), Washougal, Thunder Valley (been there, so-so), Red Bud (Fun & Cool).

It looks pretty damn cool. How is it in person?

Being from California (so brown everywhere around our tracks) when I went to Budds Creek it was like walking into a magical motocross valley. Tall green trees surround the valley, grass everywhere, chocolate brown dirt, paved walkways, tunnels for fan access all over the place, and some great viewing almost everywhere at the venue, especially on Jonathan Beasily's deck by the old finish line.

It's an amazing track for spectating! There are better places, but this is one from today.

We loved the spectating in 2007! This shows about 1/2 of all the fans.

It's def spectator friendly. However, racing is hit or miss. I've been there a couple times when it's ripped and great condition, but I've also seen it super hard pack and shitty even more. The Loretta regional in 2013 was prolly the worst track I've raced for a big amateur event. It was a joke. They didn't do anything to prep or maintain. Rock hard and shitty all weekend, from practice day thru the last motos it sucked and they never did anything like they do for pro national. If I remember there was a thread about how dangerous that regional was. It was concrete

I was there. Track is badass in person. That was and still is one of the best outdoor races I've been too.

MXoN 2007 was an absolute epic experience. Great facility set in a pretty much idyllic setting. Cool to see the Amish in their buggies too.

Jonathan Beasly is core and it would not surprise me to find out that he lifts bro.
