Have they abandoned the idea of having a race team in the US?

We're they planning on having one? I know they had the French guy last year, but did they have bigger plans? They are just one shop in Elsinore as of right now right?

That French guy has a name, Valentin Teillet. He signed with another team for 2015. If Bud brings over another rider is unlikely.

Honda SR Motoblouz

Is this just for the French Supercross season or is it for the French National Champs next season too?

"Si la signature d’un nouveau pilote au sein de l’équipe Honda SR Motoblouz n’avait plus de secret ou presque pour personne, elle est désormais rendue officielle par son manager Josse Sallefranque. Valentin Teillet rejoint dès l’an prochain la structure qui n’en finit plus de s’imposer dans le paysage du motocross français. Dès 2015, Valentin abandonne le vert au profit du rouge puisque SR Team devient l’équipe officielle Honda France…"

Roughly translated.

The signature of a new rider for Honda SR Motoblouz was no secret and Josse Sallefranque made it official. Valentin Telliet joined the team that will establish itself in the French motocross, starting next year. Starting 2015. Valentin leaves the green for the red since they will become the official team.

EDIT: Another article says Tintin and Izoird will ride the French SX series too.

And BTW, Josse Sallefranque the team manager is also a rider of the team. He is the guy with the hand on the rear fender on the pic. He pulled a "Reedy" just before Chad in 2010 and is doing a pretty decent job since then. The team is one of the winnigest here in Europe SX wise.

Was asking the question because I thought last year with Bud opening shop in Elsinore and that last year with Teillet was them just getting their feet wet in the US racing scene. Dizzy I thought they were trying to grow their racing program over here.

Sallefranque, the team manager is in his riding gear on the far left, Teillet is the guy with the BUD t-shirt and is still riding for them (BUD Racing) until Paris/Lille SX mid November . The team (SR) is still riding for Suzuki for the moment. This pic is about them riding Red for 2015, having hired Teillet and having a new sponsor, Motoblouz a french kind of BTO site, that's why this pic looks messy and confusing, it's all in one...

They did, right outside Elsinore or one of the big Cali tracks if I remember right. Been a few years since I've been down that way but remember their tiny shop. Then of course Talon showing up a year later.

Don't mind Olson. He hates Americans and is genuinely offended by everything... I'm still trying to figure out why he spends half his day here.

It will be a US 450F effort. No GPs.
Wow, didnt know that Bud Racing is going to race in the US. Good for Metcalfe though.

Last words on the (french) street are that their 2015 US rider could possibly be ... Christophe Pourcel.

Let's just hope that if that's the case that Pro Circuit is HEAVILY involved.

Honestly, I don't think that's the plan.

Then it will fail. That team isn't good enough to give him what he needs to be successful

I've been wondering for the past few monthe why Bud and Pourcel didm't put something together.

I get that you and a lot of your french pals think he's the second coming of satan, but why wouldn't he want to be successful. He likes winning and hates losing.

No shit, why on earth would Pro Circuit team up with a fellow Kawi hop-up shop? Dart Board, I guess I admire your allegiance but as someone else mentioned you seem more invested and concerned with Pourcel's career than he is. If the check is big enough, he will ride for Bud.
