I really prefer watching Stew on the smoker.

I've heard some people say that the 250 T's aren't doing great against the 250 F's. I say it's the riders, not the equipment.

That's because you have a lot of kids coming off 85's going straight to 250 2 strokes. Not a wise choice. The disappearance of the 125 is a bad thing.

James had such an unbelievable style on that 125. Watch that third video, he overjumps this smaller tabletop in a full scrub all the way to the face of the next one, and just barks it over. He's tamed it down a bit on the big bikes, but when he really pours it on, there's no one faster.

I remember that first video. Watch at 1:11, he looks like he's on a jetski....

Actually, that's a good point. Never thought of it that way. I only noticed that the top amateurs seem well sponsored, and it appears those sponsors are handing out 4-strokes, not 2 smokers.

My son, 15, 120lbs wet, 5" 10" is faster on his 07 YZ 125 than his 07 YZ 250F and wants a 250 2 stroke

The third vid is my fav. of all of the James vids. I believe that was his first ride back after his Vegas crash. Crazy.

Say what you will, James is a Badass on a bike. I still think to this day that the crash at HIgh Point(2006) had the most negative affect on James' career. I was there that day and he completely had RC covered that 1st moto. who knows what would have happened from then on, but that crash took his spirit and his fearless away. My .02
