Wow! As bad as his injuries are, I'm glad it's not worse. That was definitely a scary one!

Good God.

Did his feet get ripped off on the face?
Yeah, kind of looks like ruts on the face pulled him off before he left the take off

Every time he starts going good consistently something bad happens to him. Such a bummer.

That's an ugly one...I didn't see the crash, but I saw the aftermath (I was flagging the entry to the rhythm section directly across from it). Hope the guy heals quickly and completely.

Flagger couldn't decide what to do.

Tht was nasty. Not really sure why that huge booter is even necessary. Isn't the triple behind the start big enough ? And the tunnel Jump into the rollers....

I didn't think the big jump at Hangtown was necessary either but seems the trend for some reason is for all the US tracks to have a big monster jump.

Yeah that will really help the sport grow........

I was actually thinking during the broadcast (as I'm sure we all do at one point with such an obstacle) man that'd be a bad spot to make a serious mistake. Sure hope he's OK, doesn't get much scarier than that!

Broken femur, tib/fib and ankle.

Hope he is able to recover without a Theisman-type situation.

Thanks for the link. I would hope nobody would be that big of an asshat to post negatively about trying to help someone through a crash like this. That was just ugly and he is lucky to only have broken bones.

Its nice to know that we are almost up to $3k in a very short time. There are some good caring people out there so keep it up guys. Even a little goes a long way.

Does anyone know what hospital he is in? I assume Morgantown or did they fly him into one the UPMC facilities in Pittsburgh?

Get well soon Broc.

I saw that too, looks like it was started by former pro Damien Plotts.

I was wondering where you had gone, hadnt seen any of your big jump bashing posts recently

Watch it frame by frame. His feet came off before the jump. both feet caught a rut, came off the back of the pegs. he laid on his stomach on the seat and as a result, whiskey throttled up the face.

Should have left the hip jump in and be done with these fly racing catapults.
