British MX2.....looking good for 2014!!

Edited Date/Time 2/26/2014 6:39am
After the mega day at the Hawkstone International on Sunday (aside from the ridonkulous Jeffrey Herlings), did anyone else notice how close the British Championship riders were in the MX2 races? Nev, Lenoir, little Ben Watson, Pocock, Ad Sterry, Martin Barr, newcomer Matty Callaghan and a few others were all surrounded by each other in every race (for the majority of them anyway). This could be one of the best years for the British MX2 title, and with the likes of Bry Mac, Lewi Tombs and Steven Clarke amongst others missing from the line up on Sunday it only adds to the mix!! Its going to be awesome.

British MX is f**king ace.

Haha yea it's too many names, hope they all stay healthy! It's looks like Ben Watson has really improved over the winter if his hawkstone results are any thing to go by

It's looking good. They all have some good backing too. Pocock will be strong on the HM plant Team. Obviously Herlings will just piss the MX2 class at the GP's, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Brit on the box every now and then!

He rode well on Sunday, said he struggled a little as he has been riding hard pack and no sand since last year. Looked good on that Husky.

Is Ben a son of the Dave Watson of yesteryear?

I was very, very impressed with Ben Watson at Hawkstone - I'm really excited to see what he can do this year.
