Damnit, 44th fastest, about a second off, oh well, and if he was on a 250f probably would have been same result.

If he rode the Four he'd be in.....
No, if he'd have been on the 250 2stroke, which he should be allowed to ride, he would've made it easily.

Brian rode a RM250 last year in the 450 class. Had a decent first moto going until a crash and the 2nd moto he never got it going to well. Long live the 2 smokes!

Then you would have the 250F guys, with $5,000 in motor mods, gettin' pulled by a stock 250cc engine.........................

It is almost criminal what the AMA, FIM and the OEM have done to the 2 stroke in Pro racing.

Yeah the whole displacement thing, and rules the AMA have set in place are just stupid!

Hure props to Shuckhart for trying! He still had pretty fast lap times on that thing right in front of some fast company!

He sure did, he was hauling, I wonder what was done to it, I know his RM250 last year was close to stock.

The top 450 guys and the top "250" guys are pretty much running similar lap times. Not sure what the issue is.

I wonder if he had an Athena 143cc cylinder or the next size up (i think it is 155cc) instead of a mod 125; if that would of given him that little extra to qualify. Well that has me almost "super pumped" and now I am going off to do some laps in Florida the heat on my 04 yz125!! Peace and safety to all

I wanna see some more photos.

Someone should help this guy out, caould you imagine what he could do on a totally dialed and tricked out bike?

Probably would have qualified for sure yesterday with a little extra power I would think.

They asked for help on this forum at some point, and I know more than one person offered to do the motor.

So the offers were out there...if they chose to not accept the offers...oh well!

. the offer was on racer x. someone else just copy and pasted here so brian and/or friends may not have seen it here. help was to be sent to email not posted on here.

if he tries it again at steel city i bet he makes it. A 125 will go around steel city more easily.

i have a video from a phone of him passing travis pastrana in the rythmn section coming up to the finish line last year. they were both on rm 250's. shuckhart beat him both motos.

the video is not that great but you get the idea.

this is first moto. brian 1st ttp 2nd and tp goes down at bottom of section.

second moto i missed the actual pass but you can hear the crowd when he goes past him. the third person going by was michael willard.

last one is the last lap. brian 1st still tp second and willard still 3rd.
