I think its cool to see the support grow in this situation. I hope it catches on.

It's not a euro sanctioning body, though. It's an international body that covers many world series. Too many people are trying to turn this into America versus Europe.

Exactly.

If a rider failed a drug test in MotoGP it would be up to the FIM to decide the penalty, likewise Speedway, Trials or Supermoto World Championships which also involve American riders.

There are even people on Facebook blaming it on Guiseppe Luongo because they don't understand the difference between the FIM and Youthstream.

Keep in mind Brian Deegan intentionally gave his kid an illegally bored bike at some big mini race this year and got found out and his kid was disqualified. Rules are rules, stick to them.

Because Stewart didn't provide a TUE when he was told he needed to?

Thats like sacking the headmaster because a pupil didn't do his homework.

Im gonna go as far to say that if Cairoli tested positive for anything he wouldnt be penalized to this extent.

You have the evidence to prove this of course... or perhaps it's just a hunch?

Also the FIM was never a good idea for the Supercross series.

There's no doubt that the penalty is excessive but that's their discretion, just as the punishment for not doing homework is up to the headmaster.

In this case the FIM is based out of Europe so yeah. The AMA alone didnt do this and this isnt a world championship. They dont need international help to run a series almost entirely run withing the US.

So would you all be okay if we had AMA and USADA taking care of Supercross, if they gave him the same penalty?

do you beleive the AMA and USADA would have ignored his PED use?

I don't think it's a case of USA vs Europe. More like an irrelevant sanctioning body penalizing riders they should have no authority over.

The FIM is as crooked as a dog's hind leg, I think James would have had a better chance at a realistic penalty.

Not some BS 16 months , He didn't rob a bank.
