Would be nice to see Kawi hire a good Canadian guy to fill his slot instead of more Team Green castoffs

Happy for Brett! Would like to see him stay here in the states and run the outdoors , but it's cool to just have him out there racing. Is Chilsolm and Bobby K both staying on the Yami's up there this year , or is one of them leaving? Different team? Coming back to the states?

DOH! That's right , I get left behind on that since they are still showing all last season's races here in the states. My bad.

Bobby K staying up North? On a Yami as well?

Good on Metty. I hope he does well. Always seems like a great guy who rides his ass off.

Must have got tired of the Kawasaki blowing up. Leading Edge sure has had a lot of mechanical DNFs the last few years.

I'm not sure jeffro, but Bobby K's injuries from AX might take awhile to heal. He's pretty banged up.

Metty and Georke will be a tough duo to beat!!

That deal was done a bit ago, but now they need to fill Metcalfe's spot. That's where the surprise comes in.

good to see him get a ride, and still racing competitively- but its a shame to see a guy of his caliber not racing at the highest level (ama or GP)

Apparently it didn't make it in there.

Any who, while wandering the pits at Monster Cup I heard about Brett Metcalfe signing his deal with Yamaha for 2016 and apparently there's also some options afterwards to do PR or some sort of brand ambassador deal over multiple years.

In turn, Leading Edge Kawasaki is trying to finalizing a deal with Mike Alessi to race alongside Vince Friese for 2016.

That would a good deal for Alessi to try and take.

If that happens, I wonder if Vince cares or not? Maybe he would like to be the #1 rider and not always shotgun to Mike. I think Vince is on the rise and it would have been interesting to see him on something like team PC in the 250 class the last few years. He's good.

Vince is happy about it. Those two get along well and I think Vince will be pretty stoked because between the two of them, they can push to use the suspension guy they want to use.
