Curious if you guys think we'll have any unexpected front runners. I know he already has proven himself, but I'm really pulling for Seely this year and his 450 debut.

I don't think we will see any unexpected frontruners in the 450's
I like Cole but I don't think he will be on the box. He will do good though. I could see him pulling some top fives . I'd say about 10th in points at end of season would be a reasonable expectation.

I really think Fredrik Norén can turn some heads in SX on good equipment and fourfiddy, maybe not front as in solid top 5's but he can for sure be up there on occations. Atleast i hope so! :-D

Would love to see Davi be head and shoulders above the class. The issue would be can he stay healthy.

Cole will be on the box in SX... He gets along great on the big red bike.

A little biased maybe but Rusk could move into the top ten zone.

It is Trey's time to shine. I could see him dominating in Villopoto fashion so yea I would consider that a breakout year for sure.

So many "could Be's" how can you tell? I think Barcia will be a top 5er, don't really see him breaking out like I hoped he would even on the Yamaha. Millsap's, Kroc, Dungey, Canard and Tomac should be a toss up. Then throw in Anderson, Baggett, Seely and Reed and what a stacked field!! Ooopss, should have Reed in the first group.

Edit: nevermind, read original post again and saw that it was about people not favored. I'm going with Brayton and Anderson.

Personally I think he's the fastest most talented SX rider in a while, his speed last year was incredible from the front or though the pack!

Anderson & Seely for the 450 rookies. Others I'm high on is Brayton back on the KTM & Wil Hahn.

Well Justin will be on the lites bikes this year....and I would consider him one of the heavy favorites for sure! I'm still impressed by those rides he had at the MEC. I'll be cheering for him a lot this year. Good kid.

I might have missed somewhere which coast Justin is riding but I would hope whichever coast he is not riding that he would get a chance on the 450

I like Lieb and Rusk. Because a breakout year does not apply to guys on a factory ride. Obviously, they must have had a breakout ride if they are on a factory bike.
