Bradley Taft hit the deck at Lake Elsinore today, knocked out, and won't be racing the next week or two by the sounds of it. Chase Marquier might be the fill-in rider.

What was the reason he had such a bad race in SD? He had a great A1, and qualified well in San Diego, but ended up a lap down very early in the race and never recovered any positions. Hope he heels up soon.

It might not be a long-term thing. Chase uses the same suspension guy, so one less factor to change out. Now TLD might be looking for a fill-in, which would be a better fit for Auberson, bike wise.

Great opportunity for Chase if this happens. Bummer for Taft.

Marquier has been doing really well. I think he was 12th at A1 and 11th at SD? Something like that. Pretty damn good for a privateer.

Chase just needed confidence, and these past rides have been really good for him. Chase, Taft, Bloss, and Forkner have raced, trained, and lived together for years. Chase ran upfront right with them all, and won a bunch of times. He has the talent and speed to run with them now, especially with more resources.

Heard about his crash today at Elsi, sounded scary. Bummed for B Taft, but he will be back!

Would be a good thing for Kilian to fill in at TLD! He only trust on KTM bikes since he rode KTM for basically all his life, he never felt comfortable with the Suz last year...
This year he has a very different mindset, he wants to have fun and don't put pressure on himself and lead him to better results. He just needs better starts to finish closer to the top 10.
He only plan on racing the first five race of the 250 west, but if he as a contract he can probably stay longer.

As a foreigner the hardest part is having a visa to stay longer than 3 months. Last year he had a 6 months visa, but I don't think he has that one now.

Considering the break in West coast would definitely allow Oldenburg enough time to heal up, I doubt Auberson would get a fill-in for the rest of the West coast season. As of now, I haven't heard who will get the bike for a few rounds, if anyone at all.

That's for sure! And Kilian is currently really happy with what he has even he do it on his very own. He has ONE bike, his Gf and brother, a very good trainer and that's pretty much it.

You get what you pay for.
Don't want to pay for a fill in rider you're not going to get a quality rider to ride the bike.
