Dude goes from having the nastiest crash of his career and no way to race SX in 2014 . Then, watching the 3 guys in green dominate the podium in front of him, only to win his first race on the eve of his 21st b day. Now the guy looks to win a 250 SX championship. You can't even write this stuff!

Can he wrap this thing in NJ? If so what kind of shenanigans would happen in the big apple on Saturday night?

I don't think it's possible for him to officially clinch. He would have to be 25 or more points clear of davalos and that's not possible. Realistically though the title is his if he scores 10 points, so 11th or better.

Since Justin is down by eight he can't mathematically win in NJ, although he will mathematically eliminate Baggett if he scores 17th or better, and with Davalos officially out it will be impossible for anyone to surpass him.

Bogle is just glad that Vegas counts as a points race, and not just the east/west shootout as in years past....Davalos, not so much....

Plus he was also involved with an album that ran #2 in the hip hop section on iTunes. Cool It's definitely been a good year for Justin so far. I'm still extremely amazed he is racing at this level already, I talked to him for a few mins at milestone (his second day back on the bike?). I couldn't believe he was going to ride, let alone race considering how stiff he looked trying to get around. Once he was on the bike however, he looked raring and ready to go.

Bogle has 141, Friese has 100, so yep, Bogle can wrap it up, though I think he will leave with a very comfortable lead over Friese but not wrapped up.

Crazy, the points as they stand now (top 5):

Martin Davalos - 149 - Out due to injury
Justin Bogle - 141
Adam Cianciarulo - 120 - Out due to injury
Blake Baggett - 120 - Out due to injury
Vince Friese - 100

Insane how many of the top 5 are out, seemingly so quick.

Only one race counts towards points in Vegas, so Justin would just need a minimum of 25 points on Freise. Freise is currently 41 behind so in order to even be eligible to win he would need to win NJ (you'll realize what I mean in a minute), if Freise won NJ he would need Bogle to DNF. If that happened, he'd enter Vegas with 125 to Bogles 142 (down by 12), he would need to WIN Vegas to surpass Davalos (Davalos is currently 49 up on Freise), and Bogle would then need to finish 9th or worse. As crazy as this season has been thus far, that isn't going to happen.

Didn't they make a rule change to where the Vegas race counts as double points for the 250 s?

As much as I like Bogle; Anderson and Seely are the top guns this year. Heck, I reckon if either of those two, or Hill or Wilson were riding the east coast they would have won it this season

If Bogle wins this title does he lose his eligibility since it is his 3rd year??

No, he didn't enter any race last year, so it's only his second season

Early in the season Justin was being beaten by guys like Freise and Wharton, then AC gets hurt and Davalos continued to make mistakes while Bogle put himself in contention, however I'm not sure if he would have won the title if Martin didn't injure himself. Martin was really putting everything together and impressed me at St. Louis specifically. I think Jason and Cole have a lot of momentum right now and Justin truthfully is the last man standing on the East coast. I don't see him "putting it to Anderson" or Seely, I wouldn't even put him ahead of Wilson or Hill, but he may surprise us all next weekend. I can't wait til the East/West Shootout!

I picked him to win the series before the first race in Dallas Big E. Bummer for both AC and Davalos but glad to see Bogle catch a break after two terrible years in SX and some BIG injuries to overcome.
"You have got to be in it to win it".
