Kid has so much heart and determination. Would be a good pick up for JGR to do a SX only contract with him. I always hoped they would pick him up full time. Especially cause of where he is from and I know he could get to that next level if given the opportunity.

I just read that article as well. Unbelievable amount of will and determination. When he talked about not pulling off the track even when his knee was that painful, that was some pretty epic stuff. Maybe he and Weston should form their own team and stick it to everyone for not giving them rides.

There's a reason I've been a huge Kiniry fan... Not just because he's considered a local to me, but the guy is simply an animal on a bike. That interview just puts him into a whole different category. Pure stud.

Hope everything goes well for the guy and we get to see him out there on the track! I just don't think watching him bass fishing will be as exciting...

2004 southwick national I was watching. Can't remember if it was sat practice or Sunday motos. Anyway I see this kid trying to restart his bike and I could hear him from pretty far away just cussing that bike out then started banging the handlebars. Been a fan ever since. Dude has passion for racing scooters and it shows thru and thru!

I had the pleasure of seeing him race as a mini and you always knew he was going to be a pro for a long time to come. Couldn't have worked out for a better kid. I think of him and Paul Carpenter in the same light.

I remember Bobby at Frozen Ocean killing it. Same with Paul Carpenter. It was 10 years ago. They had their day, but time takes its toll on everyone.

Man, I hope he recovers well. Sounds brutal!

I too have been a fan since he was a kid racing at Englishtown and hauling butt.

Awesome rider and even better guy. You don't meet many who are as humble and friendly as him. Hope he finds a ride for SX

"There’s no excuse to pull off. I made the choice to be out there; I’m not going to be a girl and pull off just because my knee hurts."

Tell that to js7! I hope he does well. I always thought he was a really good dude.

That guy has always been tough as nails. The injuries he sustained long before becoming a pro makes it hard to believe he's still in the game. Like all of upstate NY motocross fans, Bob is one of my favorite riders by far.

Matthes you need to do a podcast with him going back to his AM days. I have a feeling it would be a really good story.
