I bumped into Bisceglia at a gas station in Wildomar last year. He seemed like a pretty laid back normal dude. I was bummed to see he didn't have a factory ride this year. Hope he does great on the Suzuki for Yoshimura!

I think he's an awesome rider for sure. Down at the Pro Challenge at swan mx last year he beat up on albertson and cunningham. I picked him for a top 8'ish or better 250SX week to week but man was I surprised.
With the results he put in on the 250, do you think they would really put him in the 450's? I mean what is realistic in 450? 20th?

His SX results should not determine his MX expectations, IMO.

I'm not saying he will light the world on fire, but it would seem that Suzuki wants their bikes on the track. I can see him finishing somewhere between 10th and 20th. The opportunity of riding the Yoshimura bike could be a good thing for him or it could also put some pressure on him. I hope he can put in good results, if he shows up @ Glen Helen.

I don't think his SX results are indicative of what he is capable of. He was pretty much hurt the entire time and had no prep time. I'm not sure how the DirtCandy bikes are, but I would venture to say they aren't quite on par with top 250 teams. Would be cool to see him on a 450 though.

I genuinely think he'll be better on a bigger bike, he never looks hurried in the 250s but still goes pretty quick. That usually translates pretty well.

During winter I was following him on instagram a lot. He looked really good until he had that crash where his chain broke off or something like that. Had a broken collarbone but still rode sx 2 weeks later. He just had some bad luck.. Hopefully this will be a good chance to get things going again, or hopefully someone gives him another shot for 250sx.

I don't think it matters which bike (bagget or Stewart) they hire him for...there always seem to be an open bike on that team. They should have hired an extra guy at least part time two years ago.

I would doubt Stewart is back anytime soon on the bike. At this point is seems pointless for him to try for outdoors period. The only way he will ever make it back to be competitive is dedication. And him becoming a father does not seem like he is going to do that. Good luck to Bisceglia to him if so. Really did not understand the team he signed with in the first place.

That would leave only Luke Clout on Dirtcandy suzuki. Doesn't seem like it would be beneficial to the dirt candy team for that to happen but it seems most teams allow riders to jump up to factory rides as fill-ins. Do factories have the ultimate say over the teams/contracts? Bisceglia is definitely deserving of a shot.

Is racing with a plated collarbone a good idea? Isnt it way more likely to break a gain in another spot if you crash wrong?

Good luck to Matt nice to see a guy get a shot.

Some do, some don't. You have to usually wait one year after having it put in, before having it taken out. Collarbones are so common to break though, the plates just end up going back in! Laughing

Many with both plated, including Baggett now, if I'm not mistaken.

He is. They relocated to Texas toward the end of his mini cycle career.

Guess Baggett will sit out and let the collarbone heal up for a bit. Look for Matt to be on the 450 for Colorado !! Wink

Very cool. I think the 450 may suit him better, but it will be tough regardless due to a stacked field.

I hope this is true, it would be great to see him fill in on the 450 and be put there. I think he has more to show us.
