HI Guys,

I've got a good friend that had his bikes stolen Saturday September 12th from Motel 6 in San Bernardino. Appreciate keeping an eye out. Here is the info:

"Afternoon , I wanted to send you photos of the bikes that were stolen from myself a week back , we were down to do the SRA GP at Glen Helen and at 4am a couple guys stole our bikes , stolen was a 2001 Kawasaki KX500 and a 2012 Yamaha WR 450 , The KX was JKAKXVECX1AO30634 the WR was JYACJ16Y5CA000325 , the WR had 622 on the number plates , also had a recluse clutch and TBT suspension stickers on the forks , both had IMS large clear tanks pass along if possible , , thanks for anything you can do to help , my name is Carl Cox and my cell is 559-474-9523 , thanks and have a great day ."

The bad news is that you'll probably never see them again.
The good news is that the wheelie boy that rides that 500 will probably kill himself.

On the topic of stolen bikes, write your name on the inside of your bar pad wrap, underside of plastics, as many places as you can that aren't visible and quickly altered. The rationale is that it's easy to remove graphics, do a quick spray paint job, etc. But most thieves don't think to look for that and could help trying to get your bike back if you don't have other documentation (like a lot of dirt bikes). I've never had to utilize it, but just a thought for others in the future.

Unfortunately, this won't help this situation and that's a huge bummer. Hopefully he gets his bikes back.

Why I always ask for a room on the ground floor. Motels hate it when I have to ride the bike up stairs.

Just got bak from the movies, there was a preview for the new ROCKY 37 or whatever, nut they are calling it "Creed". Rocky is now training Apollo's child he left behind.

anyways, they are driving through Philly and bam, a shot of the wheelie boys.

don;t mean to hijack the thread, just reminded me.

Hope you get your bikes back.

That could atleast stand up. I know it's circumstantial but clearly the bike had to be in your possession at one time to do all that

I'm going out with the sharpie now.

And someone told me not stay at the motel 6 in San bern when I asked about the closest airport thread last week. Good advice I take it !!

Damn that sucks. Other than that hideous tank that thing was cherry. Hope he gets it back and the scum bag loses his life. There is a place in hell reserved for people who steal what means most to others. That asshole is headed there even if he thinks he got away with it for now.

Whenever I stay at a motel I chain up my bike, take the rear wheel off and bring it into the room with me.
