Big Rick was working on his truck and it fell on him and put a major cut in his right leg with some tissue damage, broke some ribs and punctured his lung.
He has gone through skin graphs on his leg and is expected to have a full recovery but it will be a long process.

Hate to hear that. $10 says he goes through recovery laughing and with a smile on his face. Everytime I have seen that guy, he has been cutting up. Get well soon Big Rick.

Man that sucks, Well wishes on a full and speedy recovery.

Lots of people get hurt working on their Cars or trucks at home. Not sure what happened but guy's use jack stands and tire chocks even if you are doing something simple.

No joke man. When I used to work on my previous vehicle, I was scared to death that thing was going to come down on me.

Heal up soon RCSR

1. Jack stands made by the shop at LA Water and Power.
2. Put full weight of vehicle on jack stands.
3. Add floor jack with a little preload as back up.

Pretty safe.

I don't know the details of what happened, but I'm pretty sure that he's more upset about not being able to have his Bud heavy while he's in the hospital!

And little Ricky say's, "You make your own luck"...lol. Hope he heals up quick. Seems like a tough bastard. Probably more pissed off than hurt. When I was younger I worked under vehicles with nothing more than a worn out bumper jack in the mud. Proof that Jesus watches over the dim witted.
