Looks cool... but I can't imagine how hot those leathers must have been.

That dude was hauling the mail too! Newmann, I thought I saw your big rig there but wasn't sure if it was your or not.

Great racing out at Diamond Don's, it was like I stepped back in time and was walking through my uncles old moto-photo albums. Very, very cool event. Can't wait until next year, I need to find me a bike to race!

I think it's all relative to your age and when you developed moto-consciousness. I think the 70's stuff looks horrible, my sweet spot for gear is mid-to-late 80's. If I were 10 years older that would probably be reversed.

The smell was good for rat, mice or any bug prevention, way cheaper than pest control lol

Even though i started racing in 75, i never owned the leather pants, the first racing pants i had were the demin padded version of the leather ones. i didnt much care for them, even they were hot, in Florida in the summer every thing is hot to race with.
After the demins i got Trim racing pants ,and then after that maybe 77 or 78 i started using JT racing and used that until i stopped racing in 83/84

I always thought that the Gear Racewear from the 1980's was the best looking stuff, but it was hard to find. I also liked the Hallman Viking line. Both were just clean looking.

Loved the mid-80's JT gear like what Ron is wearing above. Also , really liked Jeff wards Sinisalo and Emig's Shift gear as well.

That new addidas gear........you have got to be kidding me. I just threw up in my mouth a little when I say that set of "wing pants"..haha.

You could get the matching wing shoes. But yeah, that stuff is horrible.

No way Brah.. it's mainstream.. good for our sport. I think the design is pretty fly (hehe no pun) Wait until we get these pants and some Adidas boots up on RV or Dungey...

I'd rock it, but I don't think my knee braces would fit in the skinny legs.

That's good stuff for sure. I'm not nearly as fond of the new JT stuff.

I can hear it now : Rider interview: ( insert rider name here_______) " Man.....I'll tell you guys what......if it wasn't for my Addida's wing pants and boots.....there was no way I was gonna clear that triple!"

Only pants in history that let the riders preform a "Knife edge" pass over a rhythm section.
